After Raking or Verticutting/Storage
Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly us-
ing a soft brush and cloth. Do not use water, sol-
vents or polishes. Remove all grass and debris,
especially from the ventilation slots.
Turn the machine on its side and clean the
tine/blade area. If grass or dirt is compacted in
the tine/blade area, remove with a wooden or
plastic implement.
Store the machine in a dry place. Do not place
other objects on top of the machine. To save
space, fold up the handle fully.
Ensure the cables are not trapped when
folding/unfolding top/bottom handles. Do
not drop the handles.
The machine can be stored with the grassbox
Disassembled.
CLEANING
Caution! Always clean the application after use.
Failure to carry out proper cleaning can result in
damage to the application or cause it to
malfunction.
Warning! Injury can occur during work on the
cutting blades. Wear protective gloves.
Whenever possible, clean the application straight
after you have finished working on the lawn.
Remove the collection bag if any. Empty and
clean the bag from each use.
Always stand the application on a firm surface,
and block the wheels to prevent it from rolling
away.
Tilt the application forwards.
Clean the underside of the housing around the
blades and the safety flap with a scrubbing
brush, and brush or rag. Never splash with
water!
Stand the application on its wheels again,
clean the ventilator, and any remaining grass
or dirt.
STORAGE
The application should be stored in a dry and clean
room and out of reach of children.
During extened periods of storage, during the winter
for example, ensure that the application is protected
against corrosion and frost.
At the end of the season, or if the application is not
to be used for longer than a month:
Clean the application.
Wipe over all metal surfaces with an oil-
impregnated cloth to protect them from
corrosion (non-resinous oil), or spray a fine
coat of oil onto them from a can.
Fold the guide bar down, and store it in a
suitable place.

The declared vibration total value has
been measured in accordance with a standard
test method and may be used for comparing one
tool with another that the declared vibration total
value may also be used in a preliminary
assessment of exposure.
A warning that the vibration emission
during actual use of the power tool can differ
from the declared total value depending on the
ways in which the tool is used and of the need to
identify safety measures to protect the operator
that are based on an estimation of exposure in
the actual conditions of use (taking account of
all parts of the operating cycle such as the times
when the tool is switched off and when it is
running idle in addition to the trigger time).
