OEG Compact Two-Line Solar Station
• Close the contral valve at the flow meter by turning it into a horizontal position (see fig.)
• Turn on the pump and open the shut-off valve in both flow and return. Watch the glycol
level in the tank of the filling station. If necessary, refill glycol.
• The solar liquid will circulate for at least 30 minutes before the transparent hose at the
back of the filling station does not show any air bubbles in the solar liquid.
• Check the tightness of the system whilst waiting for the air bubbles to disappear.
• When the solar liquid flows back to the tank without air bubbles, proceed with the so-called
'pressure peaks'. For this close the return valve when the pump is running at the filling
station. The manometer at the pump group will indicate a pressure increase. This slow
increase shows that the solar system is tight and air cannot escape. The pressure is reduced
by quickly opening the return valve. Repeat this procedure until the pressure quickly
reaches its maximum value of 4 – 5.5 bar after closing the return valve.

Filling of the installation
Filling:
• For filling and venting of the solar system please
use, for instance, a filling and solar station with
a flow rate of 12 l/min and a pump head of 50 m.
• Do not connect the extension tank when filling
the system.
• Please ensure that the solar liquid is filled into
a clean tank.
• Ventilate the hosepipe of the system.
• Connect the hose to the pump group as shown.
