Troubleshooting

If the appliance is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair a
defective appliance yourself!
Problem
No steam is released.
The red control light
will illuminate and turn
off during use.
The nozzle is emitting
water instead of steam.

Potential cause/solution
• Is the appliance activated? Press the On/Off switch.
• Is the plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Has the appliance reached the operating temperature? The ap-
pliance must heat up for approximately 10 seconds before it
begins to release steam.
• Has the steam control been set to the MIN position? Turn it
towards the MAX position.
• Is the water tank empty?
Fill up the water tank (see chapter "Start-up", section "Filling
up the water tank").
• The heating control light will light up regularly and turn off
during use. This is normal, the illumination of the control light
only indicates when the appliance is heating up in order to
maintain the operating temperature.
• The appliance must have reached the operating temperature
in order to emit steam. After turning on the appliance, please
wait for the red light to turn off before you push down the
steam button.
