❐ Never point the steam towards people, animals or equipment containing electric compo-
nents (e.g. inside of ovens, refrigerators, switches and lights, microwave appliances etc.).
❐ Attention! Scalding hazard! Never touch the cleaning head/nozzles during operation!
❐ The cleaning cloths may still be very hot for a short time after use. If you want to remove
them, wait until they have cooled off and the appliance no longer emits any steam.
❐ Never use the appliance without water.
❐ Always test clean a small, inconspicuous area to ensure that the material is suitable for
steam cleaning.
❐ Only store the appliance once it has cooled off completely.

What to keep in mind before use

• The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection. It turns off automatically once it
reaches a temperature of 180 °C. If this occurs, immediately disconnect the mains plug
from the socket and let the appliance cool off for approximately 30 minutes before using
it again.
• The steam gun is equipped with a child lock. When engaged, the steam trigger cannot be
depressed.
• Check to make sure enough water is in the water tank each time before using the appli-
ance.
• The fi rst time you use the appliance or if you have not used the appliance for a prolonged
period of time, it may take some time for steam to be produced after being turned on since
the lines in the appliance have not yet fi lled with water. Steam can only be emitted once the
appliance has reached its operating temperature and the corresponding appliance parts
have fi lled with water. For this, press down the steam trigger several times.
Use as a fl oor steam cleaner
It is recommended that you briefl y sweep the fl oor surface with a broom or vacuum it be-
fore using the appliance.
1. Prepare the appliance as described in the chapter "Start-up", section "Attaching a fl oor
nozzle".
2. Fill the water tank with water (see chapter "Start-up", section "Filling up the water
tank").
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Press the On/Off switch.
5. As soon as the appliance is connected to a socket and it has been activated with the On/
Off switch, the control light and heating control light will illuminate. The heating control
light turns off after approximately 10 minutes once the appliance has reached the operat-
ing temperature.
6. Disengage the child lock by pushing the bottom on the right side.
7. Pushing the steam trigger will emit steam from the fl oor nozzle. Move the fl oor nozzle
slowly back and forth across the surface to be cleaned and push down the steam cleaner
as needed.
8. If you wish to change or wash the fl oor cleaning cloth, turn off the appliance with the
On/Off switch; the control light will turn off. Push down on the steam trigger to release
