❐ Each time before using the appliance, check the fl oor cleaning cloth for wear. It may not
be used if it is visibly worn down or exhibits damages! Otherwise, your fl ooring could
sustain damage!
❐ Do not allow the appliance to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Always test clean a small, unnoticeable area fi rst.
❐ Never apply the vapour stream to one area for an excessive amount of time.
❐ Never use the appliance on cold glass surfaces. The hot steam could rupture the glass.
❐ Surfaces, which have been treated with wax, may lose their coat due to heat and steam!
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products (e.g. vinegar) or cleaning pads to
clean the appliance.
❐ When cleaning the appliance, no liquid may penetrate it. It could cause considerable
damage to the appliance.
❐ Only return the appliance to its storage place once it has completely cooled off and the
water tank is completely empty.
❐ Do not wind the mains cord too tightly around the cord winder hooks. It could be dama-
ged as a result.
❐ Store the appliance in a clean, dry, and cool area that is not accessible to children.
❐ Do not subject the appliance to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature,
direct sunlight or moisture.

Warranty conditions

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from
the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
