9. Once the cleaning process is completed and the appliance has cooled off completely, use
the On/Off switch to turn off the appliance; the control light will turn off. Push down the
steam trigger to release any residual steam and pressure until no more steam is emit-
ted. Engage the child lock by pushing the locking bottom on the left side. Disconnect the
mains plug from the socket and wait until appliance has cooled off.
10. Empty the water tank. Only screw the water tank cap back on once the inside of the
water tank has dried.
11. Remove the nozzles and stow them in the storage compartment.
12. Store the appliance upright in a cool and dry place.
13. Prior to using the appliance again, the water tank should always be checked for residual
water and be completely emptied if necessary.

ATTENTION!
❐ Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐ Do not submerge the appliance in water or rinse it with running water.
❐ Do not use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
❐ The safety level of the appliance can only be maintained if it is checked for damages as
well as wear and tear on a regular basis.
❐ The cleaning cloths are not suitable for the dryer!
❐ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage the
surface.
• When needed, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and if necessary, using a small amount
of mild detergent.
• Remove any dirt or other debris from the adapters (hair, lint etc.).
• The cleaning cloths can be washed in a washing machine.
• Only replace the appliance in its storage place once it has completely cooled down and the
water tank has been emptied.
• Store the appliance in a clean, dry, and cool area that is not accessible to children.
• The water tank should be rinsed out with a standard commercially-available decalcifi er
once every year. To do so, determine the decalcifi er dose according to the packaging in-
structions, add the decalcifi er to the water tank, and let it take effect for approximately 30
minutes. Then empty the water tank and rinse it out again with water.
