Safety instructions
The machine may only be openend by trained specialists - even
during repairs. The machine is to be unplugged from the mains
before opening. Live parts inside the machine may still be live for
some time after unplugging from the mains.
Please make certain that the mill is not tilted when it is in operati-
on and hold it in place with both hands.
Before removing the grinding container, turn the mill off and then
wait until the motor has come to a standstill.
Cleaning tasks may only be performed when the machine is tur-
ned off and the power cord has been unplugged.
PLEASE NOTE: After extended milling cycles, the grinding con-
tainer, the pulverization tools and the rotor shaft may not be hot.
Allow the mill to cool off before cleaning it or exchanging the pul-

verization tools.
PLEASE NOTE: When replacing the pulerization tools and when
cleaning , be especially careful when handling the sharp cutting

The A11basic analysis mill is a batch mill that allows for two diffe-

rent grinding procedures.

The grinding container closes airtight. This means that tha loss of
ground material is equivalent to practically zero.

Impact milling:
For useage with hard, brittle grinding material, dried material or
ma-terial that is brittle because of cold (for example grain, coffee,
etc.).
Here the grinding material is reduced by means of a beating rotor.
The grinding material is thus broken up. The granularity of the final
product is determined by the duration of the grinding, the level to
which the container is filled and the physikal properties of the
material being processed.
Cutting milling:
For usage with soft, fibrous grinding material (for examle hay,
straw, paper, etc.).
Here the grinding material is cut by means of a rotating blade. In
thise case as well, the granularity of the final product is determi-
ned by the duration of the grinding, the level to which the contai-
ner is filled and the physical properties of the material being pro-
cessed. Using the cutting method makes it possible to introduce
less energy into the grinding material, which results in less heating
up. In this case as well, because of the closed design, the loss of
ground material is equivalent to practically zero.
