Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the prob-
lem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem

Possible cause / solution
• Is the mains plug inserted in the socket correctly? Correct the
fi t of the mains plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another socket.
• Has the On/Off switch (9) been moved to position I?
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the dust container (5) full? Empty the dust container.
• Are the fi lters heavily clogged? Clean it in accordance with
the "Cleaning and Storing the Device" chapter.
• Are the fi lters worn or damaged? Order and replace new fi l-
ters via www.service-shopping.de.
• Is the suction opening (6) / nozzle blocked? Switch off the
device and remove the blockage.
• Is the rotating brush of the mini-turbo nozzle dirty? Remove
the blockages.
• It is also possible that some items will be too big / heavy to be
picked up by the device.
• Check whether the dust container (5) and the fi lters have
been inserted correctly and adjust the fi t if necessary.
• Check whether the dust container is closed correctly.
• Are the fi lters heavily clogged? Clean it in accordance with
the "Cleaning and Storing the Device" chapter.
• Are the fi lters worn or damaged? Order and replace new fi l-
ters via www.service-shopping.de.
• Is the device being used for the fi rst time? A smell often de-
velops when new devices are fi rst used. The smell should
disappear once the device has been used several times.
• Has the device already been used frequently? The device is
defective. Switch off the device, pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket and contact the customer service department.
