Cleaning the Motor Filter
The motor fi lter is located on the motor unit (3). It should be cleaned regularly to ensure
that the suction power of the vacuum cleaner does not diminish and the motor is not
overloaded.
1. Remove the dust container (5) from the motor unit (see the "Emptying the Dust Con-
tainer" section).
2. Detach the motor fi lter on the bottom of the motor unit and tap it out over a dustbin. If
necessary, the motor fi lter can be rinsed with warm, clear water.
3. Then allow the fi lter to dry completely before it is reinserted.
CAUTION! Do not under any circumstances use a hair dryer.
Do not insert the fi lter under any circumstances if it is still damp!
Cleaning the Housing and Nozzles
Clean the housing with a damp, soft cloth if necessary and then dry it with a soft cloth.
Regularly remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles.
Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of
the reach of children and animals.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner and
take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner at a recycling cen-
tre for used electrical and electronic devices. It should not be disposed of in the
regular domestic waste. More information is available from your local authorities.
