Any operational faults are shown in the display by
means of alarm messages. In addition, an acoustic
signal sounds.
The pellet feed is cut off, and the flue gas and con-
vection air fan continue running for a maximum of 20
minutes.
14.1. Resetting the alarm message
After the cause of the fault has been eliminated, the
alarm message in the display can be reset as follows:
Wait until the unit has cooled down completely.
Press the OFF button for 5 seconds to reset the
alarm message.
The message FINAL CLEANING appears
If necessary, remove any combustion residue

contact your dealer to eliminate the cause.
14.2. Alarm SMOKE TEMP.
This occurs if the flue gas temperature is not ade-
quate for safe operation of the unit.
Possible causes:
No more pellets in the storage container
The quality of the pellets is inadequate (e.g.
damp)
The rate of delivery of the pellets is too low in the
lowest power setting.
The combustion pan is slagged.
Too few pellets are being conveyed.
Increase the pellet quantity in the MINIMALE
menu (section 10.4.11)
14.3. Alarm NO IGNITION
This occurs if the flue gas temperature is not ade-
quate for safe operation at the end of the starting
phase.
Possible causes:
No more pellets in the storage container
The quality of the pellets is inadequate (e.g.
damp)
The combustion pan is slagged.
The chimney draft is too high or too low.
The ignition element is faulty.
14.3. Alarm THERMAL
This occurs if the temperature in the pellet container
is too high. The safety temperature limiter activates
along with this alarm message.
A specialist must always be used to analyse the
cause and reset the safety temperature limiter.
Possible causes:
The power of the convection fan is too low. Not
enough heat is channelled to the installation
room.
Increase the speed of the convection fan in
the MAXIMALE menu (Section 10.4.11)
The chimney draft is too low.
Increase the speed of the exhaust fan in the
MAXIMALE menu (Section 10.4.11)
