Technical refinements
of the Aquatimer Automatic 2000
Your IWC watch shows you the time in hours, minutes
and seconds as well as the date. The duration of the
dive is read off on the bezel housed inside the case,
which for safety reasons can only be adjusted in an anti-
clockwise direction via the main crown. The mechanical
movement with automatic winding has 23 jewel bea-
rings and a power reserve of at least 42 hours when fully
wound. The case of your watch is made of titanium.
Your watch is shockproof, antimagnetic and protected
by a scratch-resistant sapphire glass of hardness grade 9.
The Aquatimer Automatic 2000 is water-resistant to
a pressure of 200 bar, equivalent to a depth of water of
2000 metres. It is absolutely essential to observe a
few important operating notes to ensure that this extra-
ordinary watch is able to perform its tasks in the future.
