IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
1. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close
attention is necessary when used by or near
children.
2. Use only as described in this manual. Use
only
manufacturer's
attachments.
3. Do not handle appliance with wet hands.
4. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
5. Do not operate blower in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable or combustible liquids, gasses or
dust.
6. Do not use to pick up flammable or
combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use
in areas where they may be present.
7. Do not pick up anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot
ashes.
8. Never use when the temperature is below
23°F (-5°C) or above 104°F (40°C).
9. Do not put any object into openings.
Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, line, hair, and anything that may
reduce air flow.
10. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
11. Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to
fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire
or temperature above 265°F (130°C) may
cause explosion.

a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate blower in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Motor of blower may create sparks which
may ignite the dust of fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a blower.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
a) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
b) Do not expose blower to wet conditions.
Water entering a blower will increase the
risk of electric shock.
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a
blower.
Do not use a blower while you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating
blower may result in serious personal
injury.
b) Use safety equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
Safety equipment such as dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
loose clothing, fingers and all parts of
body away from openings and moving
parts.
