Inspection

The cable winch and its parts must be checked to ensure they
are functioning and for damage before each use.

Checking screws and levers

Only use technically perfect original spare parts.

If the cylinder head screws are loose:

Use a suitable Allen key to tighten the loose cylinder head screws.
To check that the levers and T-handle are functioning:

Actuate the levers and the T-handle several times.
The levers and the T-handle should move quietly and easily.
If loud, unwanted noises or blockage occur, these indicate a fault.
›
Send the tool to the specialist dealer for inspection in the event
of a fault.

Checking the housing

Check the housing for damage on a regular basis.
If you identify cracks or material deformations with sharp edges:

Send the device to the specialist dealer for inspection.

Greasing the cable winch

It is important that all rotating and sliding parts are correctly and
adequately lubricated to ensure that the cable winch functions correctly
and to make operation easier.
To ensure that the cable winch functions perfectly and for maximum
efficiency, we recommend the Nordforest organic, biodegradable
lubricating grease with especially high shear stability.
