Make sure that the workplace is free of tree scraps, obstacles and
trip hazards.
›
Set down the required tools so that they are immediately to hand.
›
Make sure that the required tools do not get in your way.
›
Make sure that the wire rope is always clear of the object to be pulled.
›
Ensure that you have a level area with safe footing and with
sufficient freedom of movement.
›
Make sure that adequate first aid equipment is available at
the workplace.

Conduct in emergencies

If, for example, there is a direct risk of personal injuries or damage
to the cable winch due to malfunctions or hazardous situations:

Shut down the cable winch immediately.
›
Have the malfunctions rectified by the specialist dealer.

Personal protective equipment

Always wear the following personal protective equipment:
• Safety footwear
• Tight-fitting clothing
• Leather gloves
