Removing the wire rope

You must remove the wire rope from the cable winch and clean it after
each use.
Risk of cuts due to sharp edges on the wire rope!
The wire rope poses a risk of cuts to your fingers and hands, as it can
have sharp edges and be pointed.

Wear leather gloves when removing the wire rope from the cable
winch.
To remove the wire rope:

Press the T-handle towards the "Reverse gear" lever.
The clamping jaws are unlocked when an audible click is heard.

Pull the wire rope out of the rope guide sleeve.
›
To relieve the tension spring, press the T-handle towards the rope
guide sleeve.
›
Clean the wire rope (see "Cleaning" on page 47).
›
Wind the wire rope around the manual winch.
