Immerse the pH electrode (temperature probe incl.) in
the calibration solution.
Ensure sufficient flow, e.g. by
a) using a magnetic stirrer with agitator (recommended)
or
b) swirl the pH electrode in the solution.
Stop stirring and start the calibration process by holding
the <CAL> button pressed (approx. 3 sec.). An indicator
arrow appears on the display ( ) above "cal" (calibration
mode).
pH calibration should always start with a neutral buffer.
Automatic buffer detection: the pH value of the buffer
used flashes on the display. As soon as a stable measure-
ment value has been determined, the instrument conti-
nues with the next point. Manual adjustment: set the
pH value of the calibration solution used with the arrow
keys. As soon as the pH value is stable, an indicator arrow
( ) appears above "ok" on the display. Now continue the
calibration process with the <Enter> button.
Only without temperature sensor:
If no temperature sensor is connected, the temperature
must be entered manually and confirmed with <ENTER>.
Rinse the electrode with distilled or deionised water
and dab the electrode carefully with a paper towel.
Repeat the steps outlined above in the event
of 2- or 3-point calibration.
After calibration is complete, the current sensor status is
evaluated and shown as a bar chart.
