WITCHING OWER
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control clockwise to switch
the transceiver ON.
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control counterclockwise to
switch the transceiver OFF.

DJUSTING THE
Rotate the Power switch/ Volume control to adjust the
volume. Clockwise increases the volume and
counterclockwise decreases it.
• You may need to adjust the volume more precisely while
communicating with other parties.
Note: If your dealer programmed Squelch Off Momentary or
Squelch Off Toggle onto a PF key, you can press that key to hear
background noise while adjusting the volume level (refer to "M
on page 27).

ELECTING A
Rotate the Channel switch to choose your desired channel
from 1 to 16. Clockwise increases the number and
counterclockwise decreases it.
• If a channel has not been programmed, it cannot be used. When
a non-programmed channel is selected, the LED indicator flashes
red and orange and an alert tone sounds.
