IO-Link interface

This section is only relevant for the IO-Link
versions (BMF 415KW-HAKKI-...).
6.1

Communication parameters

In Tab. 6-1 the basic IO-Link specification is described.

The minimum cycle time (MinCycleTime) of the
BMF 415KW-HAKKI-... is 2.3 ms.
If needed the master can increase the cycle
time, which is why the actual used cycle time
(MasterCycleTime) depends on the IO-Link
master.
6.2
Process data (PD)
The BMF 415KW-HAKKI-... cyclically outputs the state of
the switching point over the IO-Link interface. It is also
determined whether the magnetic field is strong enough to
ensure reliable switching over the entire temperature range
of the sensor.
If the assured switching field strength was reached when
setting the switching point, it can be assumed that the
sensor will switch reliably over the entire temperature
range.
