Electrode
1)
In the standard electrode welding process, a universal elec-
trode welding programme is available.
 Press the Mode button A33 for 2 sec.
9 The Electrode LED A24 lights up.
ElektrodePlus pack (optional)
The ElectrodePlus pack contains additional electrode welding
programmes.
 Press the Mode button A33 for 2 sec.
9 The Electrode LED A24 lights up and the electrode weld-
ing programme is displayed in the right-hand 7-segment
display A12.
‰ The code of the electrode welding programme is displayed
for 3 sec. and then the right-hand 7-segment display A12
switches to the voltage display. Turning the rotary knob
A44 causes the display to switch back to the electrode
welding programme, allowing settings to be made.
 Use the rotary knob A44 to select the desired electrode
welding programme.
‰ The following electrode welding programmes are avail-
able.

Automation
With welding machines in the automation field, the welding
process cannot be directly selected.
The welding programme selection can be called up using the
welding process A32 button. In this way you can also select
the welding process via the welding programme.
For the allocation of the welding programme and its number
see "Welding Programme List" on the unit.
 Press the welding process button A32.
9 "Syn" is displayed in the left-hand 7 segment display A4.
 Select the desired programme with the rotary knob A44,
using the "Welding Programme List".
 Confirm the selection with the Save button A14
 Leave the selection with the Exit button A2.

Menu Machine Configuration
‰ In this menu, it is possible to recall software versions (revi-
sion) and make settings to the machine configuration.
 Press the Menu button A2 for at least 5 sec. (the Second-
ary parameters menu opens after 2 sec. and the Machine
configuration menu opens 3 seconds after that)
9 You are now in the Machine configuration menu.
 Use the rotary knob A41 to select the desired parameter.

Aut = Auto, on = On, oFF = Off, 30 = 30 min. On;
The cooling unit is available for the three welding processes MIG/
MAG, electrode and TIG and can be separately configured in each
case. To do this, first select the desired welding process and then
open the machine configuration menu.
When using a gas-cooled torch, on a water-
cooled power source, the cooler in the weld-
ing process MIG/MAG must be switched off!
