MIG/MAG Manual
In the MIGMAG Manual welding process, welding takes place
independently of the welding programme. The welding volt-
age and the wire feed speed are adjusted independently of
each other.
Keep pressing the Welding process button A32 until the
MIG/MAG Manual LED A30 lights up.
MIG/MAG Synergy
In the MIGMAG Synergy welding process, welding pro-
grammes stored in the machine are used.
On the Welding programmes control panel, select the ma-
terial/wire/gas combination. See "9 Welding programmes
control panel" on Page 26.
Keep pressing the Welding process button A32 until the
MIG/MAG Synergy LED A28 lights up.
SpeedArc (optional)
In the SpeedArc welding process, welding programmes stored
in the machine are used. SpeedArc enables higher welding
speeds as well as a deeper fusion penetration compared to the
MIGMAG welding process.
On the Welding programmes control panel, select the ma-
terial/wire/gas combination. See "9 Welding programmes
control panel" on Page 26.
Keep pressing the Welding process button A32 until the
appropriate SpeedArc LED in A26 lights up.
Pulse (optional)
In the mode Pulse, welding is executed with a characteristic
curve that is stored in the machine. The pulse current is made
up of base current that is heterodyned from the current pulse.
Keep pressing the Weld Method button A32 until the ap-
propriate pulse LED lights up in A26.
SpeedUp (optional)
In SpeedUp mode, welding is executed with characteristic
curves that are stored in the machine. SpeedUp permits
quick and easy vertical up-welding (eliminating the need
for the „Christmas tree" movement during welding).
Keep pressing the Weld Method button A32 until the ap-
propriate SpeedUp LED lights up in A26.
TIG (optional)
In the TIG welding process, welding takes place with contact
ignition and a valve torch without a probe.
Press the Welding process button A2 for 2 sec.
9 The appropriate LED A26 lights up.

If it is not possible to select a welding method,
then a material/wire/gas combination has al-
ready been selected, for which no welding pro-
gramme is saved in the device. See "9 Welding
programmes control panel" on Page 26.
