Welding process
MIG/MAG Manual
In the MIGMAG Manual welding process, welding takes place
independently of the welding program. The welding voltage
and the wire feed speed are adjusted independently of each
other.
Keep pressing the Welding process button A32 until the
MIG/MAG Manual LED A30 lights up.
SpeedArc Basic (optional)
In the SpeedArc Basic welding process, welding takes place
independently of the welding program. The welding voltage
and the wire feed speed are adjusted independently of each
other. SpeedArc Basic enables higher welding speeds as well
as a deeper fusion penetration compared to the MIGMAG
Manual welding process.
Keep pressing the Welding Process button A32 until the
appropriate SpeedArc Basic LED in A46 lights up.
If it is not possible to select the SpeedArc Basic
i i
welding process, the parameter Co2 in the ma-
chine configuration menu should be set to OFF.
TIG (optional)
In the TIG welding process, welding takes place with contact
ignition and a valve torch without a probe.
Press the Welding process button A2 for 2 sec.
9 The appropriate LED A47 lights up.
Electrode
In the standard electrode welding process, a universal elec-
trode welding program is available.
Press the Mode button A33 for 2 sec.
9 The Electrode LED A24 lights up.
ElectrodePlus pack (optional)
The ElectrodePlus pack contains additional electrode welding
programs.
Press the Mode button A33 for 2 sec.
9 The Electrode LED A24 lights up and the electrode weld-
ing program is displayed in the right-hand 7-segment dis-
play A12.
‰ The code of the electrode welding program is displayed
for 3 sec. and then the right-hand 7-segment display A12
switches to the voltage display. Turning the rotary knob
A44 causes the display to switch back to the electrode
welding program, allowing settings to be made.
Use the rotary knob A44 to select the desired electrode
welding program.
