Main parameters

A13 Service LED
Lights up should servicing be needed, e.g. calibration
required.
A14 Gas test/Save button
Pressing the button briefly starts the gas test for 30
sec.
If the menu is activated, then the set parameter value
is saved.
A15 Gas test LED
Lights up when the gas test is activated.
A16 Display units LEDs
Display whether values in the 7-segment display A12
are shown in metres per minute, percent, frequency,
voltage or seconds.
A19 Welding voltage LED
Lights up when the welding voltage/arc length in V
can be set using the rotary knob A44.
A22 Interval LED
Lights up when Interval mode is selected
A23 4-stroke individual LED
In 4-stroke IND mode, parameters are available for
starting and secondary energy.
A24 LED electrode
Lights up when the Electrode welding process is se-
lected. Hold the button A33 down for 2 seconds.
A27 Spots LED
Lights up when the Spots mode is selected
A29 4-stroke LED
Lights up when 4-stroke mode is selected
A30 MIG/MAG Manual LED
Lights up when the MIG/MAG welding process is se-
lected
A31 2-stroke LED
Lights up when 2-stroke mode is selected
A32 Welding process button
Used to switch over between the welding processes
MIG/MAG and the optionally extendible welding pro-
cess.
A33 Mode button
Used to switch over between the operating modes
2-stroke, 4-stroke, Spots, Interval, 4-stroke IND, and the
Electrode welding process.
A36 Welding current LED
Lights up when the welding current can be set using
the rotary knob A41.
A37 Wire feed speed LED
Lights up when the wire feed speed can be set using
the rotary knob A41.
A40 Display units LEDs
Display whether values in the 7-segment display A4
are shown in metres per minute or amps.
A41 Rotary knob A41
Used to set the main parameters Wire feed speed and
Welding current. If the menu is activated, used to se-
lect the parameter (code).
01.20
A42 VRD LED (only for machines with VRD)
Lights up continuously when the VRD function is ac-
tive (reduction of idle voltage).
Flashes when the output voltage exceeds the value
approved in the standard (e.g. in welding operation).
A43 NFC read area (Near Field Communication)
Used to read out and write (optionally) NFC cards and
the connected functions.
A44 Rotary knob A44
Used to set the main parameters welding voltage and
electrode material. If the menu is activated, used to set
the parameter value.
A45 NFC active LED
Lights up when the user interface is ready to exchange
data with a mobile phone.
A46 LED SpeedArc Basic
Lights up when the SpeedArcBasic mode is selected.
SpeedArc enables a faster welding speed and deeper
weld penetration.
A47 LED TIG
Lights if TIG operating mode is selected.

‰ The value of the following main parameters is displayed in
the left-hand 7-segment display A4.
– Wire feed speed A37
– Welding current A36
Select the desired value with the control knob A41.
‰ The value of the following main parameters is displayed in
the right-hand 7-segment display A12.
– Welding voltage A19
Select the desired value with the control knob A44.

If the device was exited in the Electrode or TIG
welding process, then, for safety reasons, it will
start in the Standby mode of the appropriate
welding method after switch-on.
Ensure that the electrode, electrode holder
or TIG torch do not come into contact with
the workpiece or ground cable.
Different main parameters are available/setta-
ble, depending on the selected welding pro-
cess.
