GAF Gas monitoring
Two different gas monitoring systems are available as an option.
Gas flow rate monitor:
The minimum gas flow rate can be set here. (0.0 = Gas flow rate
monitor deactivated)
Gas pressure monitor:
Here you can switch the gas pressure monitor on and off.
If the gas flow rate falls below the threshold or the minimum gas
flow rate, the welding machine goes into fault and displays the
corresponding error message.

8 Startup menu (Customizing)
The Startup menu contains additional functions, processes,
operating modes and special programmes.
As soon as the machine starts, you will be able

to call up the machine service data using a
NFC-compatible mobile phone and send it by
entering an email address.
 Turn off the equipment using the main switch.
 Hold down the Menu button A2 and switch the device on
at the same time using the main switch.
or
 Press the Craterfill/Menu/Exit buttons A2 and the Weld
Method button A32 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
9 The NFC active LED lights up and nFc Act is shown on the
7-segment displays A4 and A12.
9 You can now hold a mobile phone against the NFC read
surface A43.
‰ This will display the machine service data on the phone.
 Press any key to jump directly to the Startup Menu.
Partial control panel brightness
 Use the rotary knob A41 to select the desired code br7,
brU or brP.
 Select the desired brightness with the control knob A44.
 Save the set value by pressing the Save button A14.
‰ The brightness of the following control panel areas can be
set.
