11. To ensure optimum performance of the device, empty the collecting container after
every use (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter) and charge up the battery (see
the "Charging Up the Battery" chapter).

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Never immerse the main unit in water or other liquids to avoid an electric shock!
■ Clean the fi lter after each use to prevent the motor from overheating.
■ Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are insert-
ed back into the device!
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could
damage the surfaces.
The fi lter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does not have
any adverse effect on function.
Emptying and Cleaning the Collecting Container
Clean the collecting container (4) once the MAX marking has been reached or after each
use:
1. Take the collecting container off the main unit (8) (see the "Attaching / Removing the
Collecting Container" chapter).
3. Empty dry dirt into a dustbin. Pour wet dirt into a sink with a screen.
4. Then clean the collecting container under running water.
5. Allow the collecting container to dry completely in the air before it is inserted back into
the device. Under no circumstances should it be dried with a hair dryer!

7. Insert the nozzle with scraper lip (6) into the suction open-
ing (5) (see the "Attaching / Removing Nozzles" chapter).
8. Press the On / Off switch (2) to switch on the device.
9. Suck up the cleaning liquid from the surface by pulling the
device from the top downwards.
10. Switch off the device after you fi nish cleaning each surface
to increase the operating time on each battery charge. To
do this, press the On / Off switch again in order to switch
off the device.

tainer.
