5. Getting Started:

a. Installation of DeguDent Solaris Device
The device must be placed on a flat solid surface (standing base) at least 10 cm away from the wall
or other objects. It should be positioned horizontally. The electroplating liquid must be protected from
direct sunlight or other light sources.
b. Connecting to the Power Supply
Connect the mains cable to the fuse-protected circuit via a wall outlet. After connecting the mains
cable, switch on the device by pressing the black ON button at the rear.
c. Inserting the reference cathode (colour-coded yellow)
Before operating the device, the reference cathode must be connected to the device head.
A gold-plated connector for the reference cathode is located to the right of the temperature sensor.

Please note: When starting the device for the first time, please clean its components
(anode, beaker, magnetic stir bar, glass etc.) with distilled water before you begin using it.
The anode should be cleaned with an anode cleaner.
