4. Getting started
During the summer months, lies will circle the food around the table and all the people
at the table will start swatting at them with their hands or with folded newspapers.
They are irritating and keeping them of the food is quite a diicult and tedious task,
considering the number of lies that can gather during the summer. They are just a
nuisance. The solution lies in the Gardigo Fly Scare. Just place the decorative pyramid
onto the middle of the table and switch it on. The rotating propeller with its glistening
stripes simulates an attack on the lies and shoos them away. Even though the smell
of the food might be luring, the constant movement will irritate them so much, that
they will eventually stay away.
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the device. When inserting the bat-
teries, make sure that the polarity is correct and as shown in the battery compart-
ment. (The negative end the battery is always connected to the spring)
Switch the device ON. The switch is next to the battery compartment.
The propeller will start rotating.
The wings will expand and keep away the lies from the food in the vicinity.

• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to rebuild or modify the device
and/or use it in any other way than described above.
• This device has a warranty of two years. As Gardigo has no control of the correct of
appropriate installation and use of the device the warranty can only be applied to a
fully equipped device in prime condition. We assume neither warranty nor liability
for damages or following damages related to this product. This applies especially if
it has been modiications or repairs have been made by the customer, if the circuitry
has been modiied or components have been used other than the original compo-
