4.1.2 Uncoupling the guide arm

To uncouple the guide arm, proceed in the re­
verse order (! Chapter 4.1.1).
1.
Place the grinding machine with the supporting
feet [11, Fig. B] on a level, horizontal floor with
adequate load capacity (e.g. pallet or floor)
(! Chapter 6.2).
2.

Pull out the securing spring [31]
(! Fig. K5).
b.
Remove the securing element B [29]
(! Fig. K3) (use a hammer if necessary).
c.
Remove the securing element A [28]
(! Fig. K1).
3.
Switch the guiding machine on.

Unlatch the elbow joint ("1.")
(use a hammer if necessary).
b.
Use the guide arm [18] to move the rear
pin towards "2.".
a.
Use the guide arm [18] to move the front
pin towards "3.".
5.
Remove the guide arm.

Switch the guiding machine off.
4.2 Adjusting the angle between grinding
machine and guide arm
The guide arm [18] is coupled with the locating
plate [8] (! Chapter 4.1.1).

Switch the guiding machine on.
The grinding machine has to be in horizontal
position (! Fig. B)!
2.
Swivel the grinding machine with the guide arm
into horizontal position (! Fig. B).
3.
Switch the guiding machine off.
The guiding machine must not be operated in
any way!
Increased danger of being crushed!
Wear protective gloves!
Work with the greatest care and caution!
4.
Loosen (do not screw out) the 4 clamping ele­
ments [21] and fold down (! Fig. C/D/E).
The grinding machine is connected to the locat­
ing plate [8] only by the central screw [20] and
can be rotated.
For wall grinding the grinding machine must be
turned by 90°.
5.
Turn the grinding machine into the desired posi­
tion (steps of 22.5°).
6.
Fold the 4 clamping elements [21] up and screw
tight (! Fig. D).
7.
Switch the guiding machine on.
8.
Place the grinding machine with the supporting
feet [11, Fig. B] on a level, horizontal floor with
adequate load capacity (e.g. pallet or floor).
9.
Switch the guiding machine off.

4.3 Mounting and dismantling the tools

Risk of injury!
Wear protective gloves!
Risk of damage due to unsuitable tools!
The manufacturer strongly recommends using
only the certified tools offered by the company
