Safety and general information
WARNING
A maximum scale loading of 350 kg must not be exceeded. It is also necessary
to comply with the safety requirements and instructions for appropriate use pro­
vided by the lifter and/or equipment manufacturer.
Notice
Once the scale has been mounted on the lifter and aligned, it must not be
rotated. This would risk damaging the internal connecting elements!
The scale can only be rotated in conjunction with suitable pivot bearings,
mounted in the lifter.
Operating conditions
S This device meets the requirements of 2009/23/EC and 93/42/EU, and is
radio interference-suppressed in accordance with the applicable harmo­
nized standards EN 60601­1 and EN60601­1­2.
S No devices that emit electromagnetic radiation, such as mobile phones or
x-ray equipment, may be operated in the area around the SLS lifter scale.

S The SLS lifter scale is not designed for use in a potentially explosive at­
mosphere. Potentially explosive atmospheres can be produced by the use
of flammable anesthetic agents, skin­cleaning agents or skin disinfectants.
S The device must not be modified without the express agreement of the
manufacturer. Any modification shall exclude all liability on the part of the
manufacturer for any damage resulting therefrom.
S It is forbidden to carry out any repairs on the motherboards, or to replace
any components. Should the device malfunction, contact your dealer or the
Service Department of HBM.
