d. Discharge protection
This cordless screwdriver is integrated discharge protection. The protection will
start to cut off inner circuit in two conditions.
1) When the tool is used in heavy work such as screwing much larger screws in
hard material, the tool may be blocked and then shut down. The forward arrow
light will flash to indicate this problem. The protection will reset after you leave
the On/Off switch one second and you can continue your work.
2) When the battery is completely discharged, the tool can not finish your work
and will shut down. The reverse arrow light will flash to indicate the battery is
nearly empty. Please charge the tool.
4. Operation for working
Only use tool bits which can be securely fastened in the chuck and for which the
drill has been designed.
a. Screw driving
- When driving in larger or longer screws in hard material, it is advisable to
drill a pilot hole first, slightly longer and just smaller than the shank diameter
of the screw to be fitted. The pilot hole will act as a guide for the screw and will
also make tightening of the screw less difficult. When screws are positioned
close to an edge of the material, a pilot hole will also help to prevent splitting of
the wood.
- Use only screwdriver bits that fit properly in the head of the screw.
- When driving screws, always keep enough pressure on the drill to prevent
wearing of the screw head. It will be difficult to drive or remove a screw if the
screw head is worn.
Attention! This screwdriver has a high torque force. To avoid breaking the work
piece, you should stop the tool running immediately when the screw is driven to
the expected position.
b. Manually operating
The tool has equipped with the spindle lock function. When the battery is empty
during driving screws, you can rotate the handle manually to finish the work.
