4. TO REMOVE OR INSTALL BATTERY
PACK (See C)
Locate latches on side of battery pack and
depress both sides to release battery pack from
your string trimmer. Remove battery pack from
your string trimmer. After recharge insert the
battery pack into string trimmer's battery port. A
simple push and slight pressure will be sufficient.

5. OPERATING THE ON/OFF SWITCH (SEE D)

Your switch is locked off to prevent accidental
starting. Depress lock off button, then on/off
switch, and release lock off button. Your switch is
now on. To switch off just release the on/off switch.
Depress the switch to start the tool and
release it to stop your tool.
The cutting head continues to rotate after
the trimmer has been switched off. Wait
until it has stopped to lay down the tool.

6. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (See E)

Turn the height adjustment locking
mechanism counter-clockwise to unlock, you
can now slide the telescopic tube up or down
to achieve comfortable working height.

Turn the locking mechanism clockwise till the
shaft is firmly locked.

7. THE HEAD ROTATION ADJUSTMENT

The cutting face can be changed from
horizontal to vertical. (i.e. for cutting edges).
Pull the under locking collar and turn the
upper shaft. (The head will only move in one
direction) The motor head will swivel through
180 -Release the collar and the shaft will lock.

Confirm it is secure before use!
8. AUXILIARY HANDLE ADJUSTMENT
You can now adjust the handle to what you feel
is the most comfortable position. Release the
wheel, then adjust handle angle and tighten
the wheel again.
9. ADJUST THE CUTTING ANGLE (SEE I)
Your trimmer has a four position tilting head. This
can be adjusted to achieve a comfortable and
efficient working angle. This allows controlled
trimming around flowerbeds, under shrubs, around
trees and fence posts, etc.
To change the angles simply depress the flattening
head adjustment button and move the motor head
to desired position, then release the button.
