Container changeover
After moving the follower plate out of the container:
• Loosen (but don't remove) all 4 wing nuts and
move the two loose drum holders (Figure H/no.17)
to the outside.
• Remove the empty container
• Slide a full container against the drum holder (Figure
H/no.17) and centre it
• Move the remaining drum holders (Figure H/no.17)
against the container and position them.
• Hand-tighten all 4 wing nuts.
DANGER
Don't touch the edge of the con-
tainer or reach into the container
under any circumstances while
lowering the follower piston plate.
Shut-off valve (Air supply ON/OFF)
• To activate the valve (Figure E/no.12): Turn the ma-
nual lever 90° in the counter-clockwise direction.
• This function cannot be activated if it is disabled
with a padlock.
• The padlock isn't included in the scope of delivery.
• To switch it off, turn the manual lever by 90° in the
clockwise direction.
Air filter
• Don't operate above the maximum inlet pressure.
• Don't remove the filter housing under pressure.
• Don't exceed the max. fluid level indicator on the
housing. To drain the housing, press the drain valve
by hand to drain the fluid.
• The filter element (Figure E/no.15) on the air service
unit (Figure B/no.6) can be replaced by unscrewing
the housing (bayonet closure). Clean the housing at
the same time.

Limit switches

• If the upper limit switch isn't activated (Figure F/
no.4): System can only be operated with two-han-
ded control.
• If the upper limit switch is activated (Figure F/no.4):
The system runs in pumping mode and the pump
can be operated with the Pump Start and Stop
button (Figure I/no.18/26).
• The system incl. pump stops if the lower limit
switch (Figure F/no.5) is activated. A container
changeover is required.
The heights of both limit switches are adjustable by
loosening the two Allen Head screws on the moun-
ting brackets (figure G/no.16) on the left side. Avoid
removing the screws completely.

Packing, Transport and Storage

The product will be prepared for transport to its first
destination by ABNOX. The packing unit may not be
subjected to any excess load. The packaging and
its content must be protected from moisture. The
transport temperature must be kept between – 20°C
and + 40°C.

Transport Damages

If transport damages are discovered during the
inspection of incoming goods, this procedure must
be followed:
• Inform delivering party (freight carrier, etc.)
• Make record of damages
• Inform supplier

Storage

Storage and temporary storage in aggressive or
humid environments or outdoors can lead to
corrosion and other damages. The storage
temperature must be kept from – 20 °C to +40°C.

Training of Personnel

Only trained and instructed personnel who have read
and understood all points of the Operating Manual
may work on the product. Likewise the individual
operating states must be mastered, and the related
safe aspects must be known and they must be able
to implement them. Personnel undergoing training
may only work on the product under the supervision
of qualified personnel.
