the machine could feed and trim a fresh length of line.
• When no line is fed, remove the battery pack and turn the machine
upside down so that you are looking down at the spool cap.
• Depress the tabs and remove the spool cap from the spool housing
in the trimmer head.
• Grasp empty spool retainer with one hand and pull it out.
• Unfasten the line end of new Haussmann string spool and guide
the line into the eyelet, push the spool onto the boss and rotate the
spool slightly until it's seated.
• Align the tabs on the spool cap with the slots in the housing.
• Push the cap onto the housing until it snaps securely into place.
Warning! To avoid tool damage; if the cutting line protrudes beyond
the line cut-off blade, cut it off so that it just reaches the blade.
