8 Controlling the ED05 pressure
regulator
You can continually adjust the pressure once you have
connected the electrical and pneumatic supply on the ED05
pressure regulator. To do this, the ED05 pressure regulator is
e.g. controlled via a controller or potentiometer using a set
point. The electronics compare the set point with the outlet
pressure, which is measured by a pressure sensor, and
generate a control variable that is used to control the 3/3-way
valve with U/I converters and a proportional magnet. This sets
the stipulated pressure.
