If malfunctions occur

Air is audibly escaping
ED05 pressure regulator emits
short pressure pulses
Possible cause
Seal at the inlet connection, outlet
connection, or exhaust connection is
missing or damaged.
Leaks between the ED05 pressure
regulator and connected pressure
line or base plate
ED05 pressure regulator is not
leaktight
Pneumatic connections confused
Device with current input is
operated with voltage set point
Remedy
Check the seal and exchange, if
necessary
If directly assembled:
Check the pressure line
connections and tighten, if
necessary.
If assembled on a base plate:
Tighten screws with 6 Nm torque.
Exchange the ED05 pressure
regulator
Properly connect the pneumatics
for the pressure lines or base
plate (see "Assembling the ED05
pressure regulator on a mounting
plate or in a control cabinet" on
page 62 or "Connecting the base
plate pneumatics" on page 68)
Stipulate the correct type of set
point
