Safety Considerations
The following safety instructions also apply to the
S 11000 EX, S 21000 EX and S 34000 EX-units:
CAUTION! Read and observe the operating instructions
before using the machine. Information, instructions and
training in the use of the dust-extraction machine and
the dusts to be separated should be obtained before
use. The machine may only be used by authorised per-
sonnel who are familiar with the provisions of Directive
2014/34/EU and 1999/92/EG.
The machine should only be used in Zone 22, an area
in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of com-
bustible clouds of dust in the air is unlikely to occur
during normal operation, but, if it does occur, is only for
a short period.

System Description

The S 11000, S 11000 EX, S 21000, S 21000 EX, S
32000, S 34000, S 34000 EX, S 46000 are stationary
dust separators for the source extraction of air borne
pollutants and for cleaning.
Most of the dust is separated in the cyclone. The partic-
les are collected in the bottom of the fi lter unit and are
automatically emptied when the vacuum producer is
shut down.
By the internal fi lter arrangement 99.9 % (DIN 24184/3)
of the fi nest particles are separated from the air.
The fi lter is cleaned with air pulse against the fl ow of
extracted air. This arrangement provides for very ef-
fective cleaning while at the same time giving long fi lter
life. The S 11000, S 11000 EX, S 21000, S 21000 EX, S
32000, S 34000, S 34000 EX, S 46000 are of modular
construction. The inlet module can for example be both
rotated and reversed.

Warning!
Only use accessories approved by the manufacturer for
use in Zone 22. The use of other accessories may pose
a risk of explosion.
Only suction accessories made of antistatic or metal
material may be used.
NOTE! If incorrect or fake parts are used (especially
fi lters and suction hoses), hazardous dust may leak
from the machine, resulting in personal injury. No plastic
bags may be used in the dust-separation part of the
machine. Separated material must be removed safely in
accordance with the CENELEC TR 50404 guidelines.
Only accessories approved and prescribed by Dustcon-
trol may be used with the EX units so as to ensure their
functionality.
These accessories may only be installed by a qualifi ed
installer.
Observe the instructions as stated in 'Description'.
Additional module rings can be installed to increase the
storage capacity of the fi lter unit.
The X model is equipped with larger fi lter area and an
extra module ring.
The S 11000, S 21000, S 32000, S 34000, S 46000; As
standard the dust is collected in a plastic sack, contai-
ners etc are available as accessories.
The following also applies to the S11000 EX, S
21000 EX and S 34000 EX:
The separated dust is collected in a container.
The units are intended for use with materials with the
lower of the various Kst values for the individual compo-
nents in the unit.
