The AQUA DET 1 pump is designed to dispense dishwashing chemicals. The pump has its own electronic
circuit board that controls all the injections of products that are delivered to the dishwashing machine via 2
peristaltic pumps. The flow of each pump can be changed from ~10 to 100% by rotating 2 internal trimmers
that vary the rate of rotation of the motor. AQUA DET 1 is fitted with 2 peristaltic pumps mounted on a
polypropylene box.

The operating principle of a peristaltic pump is based on the pressure against a soft tube mounted into a
housing. The pump consists of a rotor which is fitted with rollers on its ends which compresses the tube. As
the fluid travels along the tube, the fluid sucked in, is ejected into the delivery line. This process is then
repeated by the next arm of the rotor. The flow depends on the speed of rotation of the motor and on the
diameter of the tube. By unscrewing the central knob on the front panel of the pump it is possible to remove
the transparent cover and gain access to the tube.

Detergent pump (SX pump)
Connect the PVC 4x6 hose (internal diameter 4 mm, external 6 mm) to the suction nipple (1).
Insert the foot filter to the other end of the hose.
Connect the PVC 4x6 hose (internal diameter 4 mm, external 6 mm) to the delivery nipple (1).
Insert the PP Detergent Injection fitting to the other end of the hose.
Tighten nuts (3 and 4) (see Fig.2).
