    You can adjust the speed control with or without the motor running. BAND SAW BLADES The 7724 Band Saw requires blades that are .020 thick, 1/2" wide, and 44-7/8" long. NOTE: Do not use blades that fit stationary band saws. They will not fit.
  • Page 10 REMOVING THE BLADE – Turn the handle (A) Fig. 2 clockwise to release tension on the saw blade. Remove the blade, first from the pulleys, and then from the blade guide. Before installing a blade, clean any acumulated chips and wax from the blade guides and pulley tires.
