Care and Cleaning

To Clean Grill
1. Unplug Grill from outlet and allow to cool. Carefully dispose of
any grease.
2. To remove/replace Cover: Cover must remain in vertical position
during removal and replacement. To remove: Open Cover, gently
pull straight up and remove. To replace, align cover hinge with
slot on lower hinge, both sides; gently slide into position.
3. Grill Plate, Cover, Gasket, Wire Rack, and Drip Tray are
dishwasher safe, or wash in hot, soapy water. When cleaning in
dishwasher, place Gasket, Wire Rack, and Drip Tray on top rack
only. Rinse and dry. Use a nylon or plastic scouring pad and a
nonabrasive liquid cleanser. Do not use metal scouring pads.
DO NOT use "SANITIZE" setting when washing in dishwasher.
SANITIZE cycle temperatures could damage your product.
NOTE: Drip Tray may discolor from drippings.

WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before
cleaning. Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water or any liquid.
To Clean Infuser Chamber
NOTE: Parts should be hand-washed. Do not use a dishwasher as
parts are very small. Ensure Mesh Screens are not misplaced while
out of the grill.
1. Unplug Grill and allow the Infuser Chamber to cool. Ensure no
embers are smoldering. Release Infuser Chamber by rotating,
then removing from Grill.
2. Open Infuser Lid and turn Chamber upside down over damp
paper towels to remove debris. Ensure all debris, Large Mesh
Screen, Screen Support and Small Mesh Screen are removed.
Gently tap Infuser Chamber on paper towels, if needed, to
remove these parts. TIP: A paper clip can aid in pushing the
Small Mesh Screen from Infuser Chamber base.
3. Remove the Infuser Fan from Base by pulling straight up. TIP: A
paper clip can be hooked through the Infuser Fan eyelet to aid in
removal.
4. Wash parts in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry completely before
reassembling Infuser.
5. Replace Mesh Screens if damaged; 2 replacement screens in
each size are included.
To Deep Clean
NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher as parts are very small.
WARNING Fire Hazard. Rubbing alcohol is flammable. Allow
parts to cool completely and rinse with water before soaking in
rubbing alcohol.
1. Place Large Mesh Screen, Screen Support, Small Mesh Screen,
and Smoke Infuser Fan in a small bowl. Pour rubbing alcohol
into bowl to cover parts. Soak for 20 minutes or until residue
breaks away from parts.
2. Dampen a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and wipe the inside
of the Infuser Chamber.
3. Wash parts in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry completely before
reassembling Infuser.
4. Replace Mesh Screens if damaged; 2 replacement screens in
each size are included.
