"Stand-Alone" usage

The following instructions must always be followed if
the PC is being used in stand-alone mode, i.e. not con-
nected to a Bosch Test Equipment product.

The mains plug is the main method for shutting
down the PC. The wall socket must be easily acces-
sible for the technicians.
Follow all instructions printed on this product and in
this documentation.
Before starting up make sure that the voltage of the
lighting mains matches the voltage of the PC.
This product is equipped with a three-core safety
plug. This plug is only suitable for earthed sockets.
This is a safety measure. If the plug does not fit in
your socket, please consult an electrician, who will
replace your socket for you.
If using an extension cable for this system, ensure
that the total current of all devices connected to this
extension cable does not exceed the permitted cur-
rent for the extension cable. In addition, the current
drawn by all devices connected to this wall socket
must not exceed a total of 15 A.
Do not step on the cable or place anything on top of it.
Do not place this product on an unstable surface.
Do not use this product near water. Do not spill any
liquids onto or into the product.
The housing contains ventilation openings. These
openings must not be blocked or covered. Do not
place this product near to or on top of a heater.
Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots on
the system.
Disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.
Do not carry out any maintenance on your system
yourself. Leave maintenance to a qualified technician.

If any of the following arise, disconnect the mains
plug and have your system serviced by a qualified
technician:

The cable or plug is damaged.
$
Liquid has been spilt into the system.
$
The system is not working properly, despite fol-
lowing all the instructions correctly.
$
The system was dropped or the housing is damaged.

Transporting the PC

Transport all devices individually and in their original
packaging only, or in another suitable packaging that
ensures protection against knocks and damage. Only
unpack the device once it is in its final location.
