h) Adjusting the quadrocopter
Start up the transmitter first, then the model.
Carefully push the pitch stick (see also Fig. 1, Pos. 15) from the lowest position (motors off) forward until the quadro-
copter lifts off and hovers. Observe your model's flight behaviour and change the trimming if the model wants to move
in a direction that you have not steered it on the transmitter.
Yaw trimming:
If the quadrocopter, viewed from above, wants to turn to the right, reduce the speed until the quadrocopter once more
stands safely on its landing legs. Now press the trim button for the yaw function (see also Fig. 1, Pos. 14) multiple
times to the left.
Then carefully push the pitch stick forward again and check whether the adjustment was sufficient. Keep repeating
this procedure until the helicopter no longer has any tendency to turn to the right.
If the quadrocopter, viewed from above, turns to the left, press the trim button for the yaw function to the right.
Every button press is confirmed by a short audio signal. The change of the yaw trimming can be followed at
the trim indicator (see Fig. 4, Pos. 11) in the display.
If you press and hold the button, the remote control emits audio signals in rapid succession and up to four
trim signals are shown in the trim indicator.
If the end of the trim range is reached, the acoustic signal is silenced. When you trim back, the middle
position is indicated acoustically with a longer audio signal.
