(1) Top thread tension control
Decrease or increase the tension of the top
thread by using this control. The higher the
number. the tighter the tension.
(2) Stitch dial
This dial regulatesthe stitch pattern and the
zigzag width.
Set it at "O" when straight stitching and the
needle bar will be firmly locked to achieve
uniform stitching.

Loosen the knob in the center by turning
counter-clockwise. Move the lever between
and O and retighten the knob.
Lower the lever below "O" to stitch
for back tacking.
