WARNING! Never use the machine with damaged or worn parts. These must be completely
replaced - repairs are not permitted. Only use original spare parts.
•
Non-original or improperly installed parts can jeopardize operational safety, cause accidents
and injure persons. The manufacturer accepts no liability in such cases.
•
Maintenance and adjustment work that is not expressly described in these instructions may
only be carried out by authorized specialist workshops or your specialist dealer.
•
Only there will suitable equipment and qualified personnel be available to maintain the
machine safely in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
•
Maintenance work carried out by unauthorized persons or workshops voids all warranty
claims and the manufacturer's liability.
•
Remove the ignition key after each use and check that it is intact.
•
Tighten all screws, nuts and bolts regularly to maintain operational safety. Regular
maintenance is crucial for safety and performance.
•
In particular, check that the screws on the cutting tools are tight.
•
Always wear suitable work gloves when handling cutting tools (e.g. when removing or
installing).
•
When sharpening the blades, ensure that they are evenly balanced.
•
Work such as dismantling, sharpening, balancing, reassembling or replacing cutting tools
requires specialist knowledge and special tools - this should only be carried out by specialist
companies.

Check the function of the brakes regularly and have them serviced or repaired if necessary.
•
Replace illegible or damaged warning and information signs immediately.
•
Lower the cutting device completely if the machine is not to be used for a long period of time
or is to be left unattended.
•
Always keep the machine out of the reach of children.
•
Never store the machine with a full fuel tank in places where fuel vapors could be ignited by
open flames, sparks or heat sources.
•
Allow the motor to cool down completely before parking the appliance indoors.
•
Keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and the area around the fuel tank free of
grass, leaves, oil and dirt - this helps to prevent the risk of fire.
•
Empty the grass catcher completely after each use. Never store filled grass catcher in closed
rooms.
•
Check regularly whether oil or fuel lines are leaking. Even small leaks can lead to a fire hazard.
•
If the fuel tank needs to be emptied, only carry out this procedure outdoors when the engine
has cooled down.
•
Never leave the ignition key in the ignition lock or in the vicinity of children or unauthorized
persons. Always remove it before carrying out any maintenance work.
