To ensure correct operation of this Meccano Clock, it is important to check the following points during

direction to shaft 3. The cord guide (Strip 6a) at the bottom of the Clock must also be reversedto project outwards to
the left, when viewed from the front, while the hanging support bracket (Flat Girder 103h) at the top of the Clock
must be reversed so that the positions of its circular and slotted holes are transposed, then moved two holes to the
right to compensate for the repositioned driving weight. The clutch, when removed from shaft 3, must be replaced by
a Spring Clip (35) and a Washer (38) to hold the shaft in the correct position. A Spring Clip is included in the Kit
for this purpose.
