5. MATÉRIEL
5.1) Seuls les châssis ayant une homologation valide CIK-FIA
et aux caractéristiques suivantes sont autorisés :
- Empattement châssis
- Largeur hors-tout
- Freins avant
5.2) Le cadre doit répondre aux caractéristiques suivantes :
Nombre de tubes : 6, il n'est pas permis d'utiliser des barres
antiroulis.
5.3) Dimensions du tube du cadre : 28 x 1,9 mm minimum en
acier magnétique.
5.4) Roulements d'arbre arrière : maximum 2.
5.5) Supports de sièges : 4, fixes, soudés sur le cadre, en acier
magnétique.
5.6) L'arbre arrière doit être en acier magnétique.
5.7) L'arbre arrière (essieu) doit avoir un diamètre extérieur
maximum de 30 mm, une épaisseur de paroi minimum en tout
point de 4,9 mm, une longueur de 960 mm (+/-10 mm) et un
poids de 2900 g (+/-100 g). L'épaisseur de l'arbre arrière doit
être en tout point (sauf dans les logements de clavettes et au
niveau des chanfreins des extrémités) au minimum de :
 Equivalence des épaisseurs / diamètres externes

5.8) L'arbre arrière utilisé sur le châssis ne doit pas
nécessairement provenir du même constructeur que le châssis
lui-même.
5.9) La largeur maximale d'une roue arrière est de 150 mm et
la largeur maximale d'une roue avant de 120 mm.
5.10) Matériau des jantes : Aluminium et/ou Magnesium.
5.11) Raidisseur de siège : maximum 1 par côté.
5.12) Toutes les pièces en matériau composite sont interdites
sur le kart, sauf pour le siège, le plancher, la protection de
chaîne, le patin de protection du disque de frein arrière.
5.13) L'utilisation du titane, de la céramique et des matériaux
exotiques sur le chassis et les accessoires est interdit.

5. EQUIPMENT

5.1) Only chassis with a valid CIK-FIA homologation and the
following technical characteristics are allowed:
- Wheel base
- Overall width
- Front brakes
5.2) The frame must comply with following characteristics:
Number of tubes: 6; it is not permitted to use anti-roll bars.
5.3) Frame tube size: 28 x 1.9 mm minimum made of magnetic
steel.
5.4) Rear axle bearings: maximum 2.
5.5) Seat supports: 4, fixed, welded on the frame, out of
magnetic steel.
5.6) The rear shaft (axle) must be made of magnetic steel.
5.7) The rear shaft (axle) must have a maximum external
diameter of 30 mm, a minimum wall thickness of 4.9 mm at all
points, a length of 960 mm (+/-10 mm), and a weight of 2,900 g
(+/-100 g) The rear shaft thickness must at all points (except in
key housings and in the area of the chamfers at the extremities)

5.8) The rear shaft used on the chassis does not have to come
from the same manufacturer as the chassis itself.
5.9) The maximum width of a rear wheel is 150 mm and the
maximum width of a front wheel is 120 mm.
5.10) Rims Material: Aluminium and/or Magnesium.
5.11) Additional seat stay (support): 1 per side maximum.
5.12) All parts made from composite material are forbidden on
the kart, except for the seat, the floor, the chain guard and the
rear brake disc protective pad.
5.13) The use of titanium, ceramic and exotic materials on the
chassis and the accessories is forbidden.
