6. Pull the plug out of the power out-
let.
Setting up the pump
Notes
• If the operating depth with the sup-
plied connection set is not enough:
• Remove the aluminium pipe (14)
and attach a suitable hose on
the water outlet (11).
• Attach a rope to the carrying
handle (4). You can lower, lift
and fix the pump with this.
• Never use the power cord (5) or the
pressure hose to hold or hang up
the device.
• If you use the float switch (9):
• When immersing the pump, al-
low as much air as possible es-
cape from the pump foot. Hold the
pump at an angle. Open the shut-
off valve (18).
• Observe the maximum operating
depth (≤7 m) and the maximum
discharge head (≤13 m).
• Do not place the device directly
on a muddy surface. Hang up the
device or use a brick, for example,
as a base.
Setting the immersion depth
Adjustment range: 45–66 cm
1. Loosen the coupling nut (15) on
the hose guide (2).
2. Adjust the aluminium pipe (14) to
the desired length.
3. Tighten the coupling nut (15) on
the hose guide (2).
Setting up the pump
1. Immerse the pump foot (10) in the
rainwater container.
2. Hang the pump with the hose
guide (2) on the edge of the rain-
water container.

Operation
Operating instructions
• Ensure that the mains voltage and
mains frequency match the spe-
cifications on the rating plate.
• Connect the appliance to an outlet
with a fuse of at least 6 A.
• Only connect the device to a
power outlet with a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual
current no more than 30 mA.
 DANGER! Danger of electric
shock! Make sure that moisture or
water can never get into the mains
connection.
• The device is not suitable for con-
nection to the drinking water sup-
ply.
Manual operation
• Open the shut-off valve before op-
eration. Close the shut-off valve
immediately after operation.
• Monitor the pump so it does not
run dry.
• Minimum water level, Initial start-
up: 60 mm
Switching on and off
Notes
• NOTICE! Not suitable for continu-
ous operation! The optimum in-
terval of use is 30 minutes pump-
ing, 5 minutes break.
• Overload protection: In case of
overload, a built-in temperature
monitor automatically switches the
device off. The device automatic-
ally switches back on after it has
cooled down.
Switching on
1. Connect the power cord (5) to the
power supply.
The motor starts. After a suction
period the pump begins to extract.
