This product complies with the recognised technical standards and safety
regulations.
We declare that this product is in conformity with the following European
Directives: 89/336/CEE, 91/263/CEE, 92/31/CEE, 93/68/CEE.
1) DESCRIPTION
Control unit suitable for a single / three-phase motor up to 750W (see fig.2).
N.B. Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure the voltage change
over jumper JP1, is set for the correct work voltage.
2) OPERETION LOGIC
1
st
Command impulse: with START push-button or radio-control, opens.
nd
2
Command impulse: at the end of stroke, closes.
3
rd
Command impulso: with moving gate, jams.
4
th
Command impulse: with gate jammed, reverses the movement.
3) FUNCTIONING OF TRIMMERS
TW- Sets the running time of the motors during opening and closing (can
be adjusted from1 to 80s).
TCA- Sets the stand-by time between the automatic opening and closing
(can be adjusted from1 to 75s).
4) FUNCTION OF BRIDGES
TCA
on-
1
st
command impulse: opèns. The closing of the gate takes place
automatically after the stand-by time set on the TCA trimmer has
elapsed.
off-
1
st
command impulse: opens. For the closing of the gate, a second
command impulse is necessary.
ALL
on-
Switches off the prealarm function.
off-
Activates the prealarm function both when opening and closing. The
blinking light switches on abt. 4 seconds before the engagement of
motor.
PH
on-
Photocell intervention causes the gate to stop wether it is in the
opening or closing phase. After removing the obstacle, the gate
opens.
N.B. In any case, the opening command of the gate is accepted only if the
photocells ray is clear (without obstacles).
off-
Photocell intervention has no effect on the opening phase and
immediately reverser movement during the closing phase.
BLI+ TCA
on-
lt can be open if the TCA bridge for automatic closing is also open.
After the first command impulse, the control unit does not receive any
other command before the opening stand-by time has elapsed.
off-
If the TCA bridge is in "off" position.
BLI
on-
The control unit does not receive the 2
opening running time is concluded.
off-
The control unit receives the 2
running time is concluded.
5) FUNCTIONS OF LEDS
The SIRIO TN1 model is outfitted with a set of Leds which have the function
of indicating probable faulty operations of the system.
The functions of the Leds are the following:
DL1- Power Remains lit when system is energized.
DL2- Open Lights up when gate is opened.
DL3- CloseLights up when gate is closed.
DL6- Start Lights up when start command is given.
DL7- Jam Switches off when jamming command is given.
DL4- Closing limit switch Switches off when opening end of stroke
command is given.
DL8- Opening limit switch Switches off when closing end of stroke
command is given.
DL5- Photocell It switches off with photocells not aligned or with obstacles.
DL9- Control open It lights up at the opening command with "person
present".

6) TERMINAL BOARD CONNECTION (fig.2)
IMPORTANT: a three-phase circuit-breaking fuse-holding unit is supplied
with the SIRIO TN1 control unit. This should always be connected upstream
on the power supply line from the control unit and must contain fuses which
correspond to the specifications on the data plate of the connected motor.
The motor can have up to a maximum of 1 HP.
The supply also includes:
3 x 4A fuses 10x38 AM for 230V~
3 x 2A fuses 10x38 AM for 400V~
Warning: Position the voltage changeover jumper (JP1 terminal board
fig.1) at the correct mains voltage.
