DESCRIPTION
The NMX-88, NMX-88D, NMX-1616 and NMX-1616D matrices, are audio matrices with a Digital Signal
Processor (DSP) that offer a complete and versatile solution for handling and processing audio signals.
With these matrices, sound systems can be configured with simple end-user control. They feature powerful
audio signal processing tools to match and enhance the signal to any venue or application, and get the best
results for sound diffusion. And they provide the installer with the ability to configure sound systems with
multiple inputs and outputs, and the user with an easy way to control the sound.

They are based on an ADI SHARC 21489 architecture, with 40 floating point bits and a high processing
capacity (400 MIPS, 1600 MFLOPS).

NMX-88: features 8 analogue inputs and 8 analogue outputs.
NMX-88D: features 8 analogue inputs and 8 analogue outputs + 8 DANTE digital inputs and 8 digital outputs.
NMX-1616: features 16 inputs and 16 outputs.
NMX-1616D:features 16 analogue inputs and 16 analogue outputs and 16 DANTE digital inputs and 16
digital outputs.
In addition, they all feature a USB sound card input and output channel for PC playback and recording
or use with video calling software.

Its management software allows for the control of several matrices and multiple adjustments such as:
Echo Cancellation (AEC) for video conferencing, Feedback Cancellation (AFC), Noise Suppression (ANS)
and Automatic Gain Control (AGC); plus many other features including: Auto mix and priority control,
signal dynamics processing such as parametric filters, graphic filters, noise gate, expander, compressor,
delays, crossover and limiter. Each channel has a volume control that can operate independently or link
two channels together to form a stereo channel.
In addition, FONESTAR offers other devices compatible with the matrices to complete your installation:

NMX-WP: remote control from which you can control different options of the matrix to which it is
associated. You can select functions such as volume control, gain control, mute, scene recall and special
actions with UDP, RS-232 or RS-485 commands.
TAB-10-16: 10" Android touch screen from which you can control different options of the matrices. You

MCMD-2: DANTE desktop microphone allows messages to be given via a DANTE channel..
NOTE: the TAB-10-16 touch screen requires an APP available on the Fonestar website. This APP is available
for Android or iOS being compatible with tablet and iPad.
The PC software will be needed to configure the IP addresses of these devices, to create and load screens
in the TAB-10-16 (Android), Android tablets or iPads; and configure the options to be controlled by the
NMX-WPremote control. In addition to the control and adjustment of inputs and outputs by means of filters,
volume controls, mixers, etc.
