User instructions
Use
The appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above, and by persons (children included)
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Children, of less than 3 years of age, should be kept
away unless continoulsy supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended normal opera-
ting position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug
in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user
maintenance.
CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
The electric fan heater is movable and intended for
space heating in various premises. The electric fan hea-
ter is approved for use in humid and wet areas, and is
employed on building sites, in stores and shops, and in
the home. The fan heater has been subjected to electri-
cal safety testing and EMC-testing by SEMKO. The
fan heater is CE marked. Degree of protection: IP X4
(corresponds to splash-proof)
Safety
• Don't use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a
shower, bath or swimming pool.
• Don't locate the heater immediately below a
permanent wall-mounted power outlet.
• Don't cover the heater since it could then overheat
and could cause a fire (see also Figure A).
• Some of the heater surfaces become hot when the
heater is in operation.
• Locate the heater so that any combustible material
will not be ignited.

4. The thermostat have two output stages when the
heater is running on 1/1 output.
BX 20E - 10kW + 10kW
BX 30E - 20 kW + 10 kW

Cleaning
Clean the heater at regular intervals, since dust and
dirt may cause overheating and give rise to the risk of
fire.

Service and repairs

The following work should be done by personnel from
the manufacturer or a service company, or by
equivalent qualified personnel: Changing the power
supply cable.
The heater has a built-in temperature limiter that will
trip the power supply in the event of overheating. If
the temperature limiter has tripped, isolate the power
supply to the heater, allow the heater to cool down and
attend to the fault.
