3.1 DESCRIPTION
The cable includes a RS232/TTL converter, which allows converting the TTL signals, in-
coming and outgoing via the rear connector of the controllers, into an isolated RS232 sig-
nal, connectable to a PC. It is designed so that the set-up and the customising of func-
tions of such devices can be achieved, via the appropriate software, on controllers pro-
vided with relative communication port connector.
3.2 GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
RS232/TTL isolated interface
−
Interface supply derived from the controller
−
−
Connection to PC by SUB-D 9-pin female connector.
3.3 OPERATION
Connect the RJ6/6 phone jack to the controller and the SUB-D 9-pole connector to the PC
serial port.
By installing and opening the programming software, check if the connection is working
correctly.
