Do not expose dust extraction attachments to rain or
u
wet conditions. The penetration of rain or moisture into
the dust extraction attachment increases the risk of elec-
tric shock.
Ensure that the workplace is well ventilated.
u
The dust extraction attachment should be repaired ex-
u
clusively by a qualified professional using only genu-
ine spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
dust extraction attachment is maintained.
Do not clean the dust extraction attachment by spray-
u
ing a jet of water directly at it. Water entering the dust
extraction attachment increases the risk of an electric
shock.
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark
u
areas invite accidents.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va-
u
pours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or ex-
plode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical
attention should you experience any adverse effects. The
vapours may irritate the respiratory system.
If used incorrectly or if the battery is damaged, flam-
u
mable liquid may be ejected from the battery. Contact
with this liquid should be avoided. If contact accident-
ally occurs, rinse off with water. If the liquid comes
into contact with your eyes, seek additional medical
attention. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause ir-
ritation or burns.
The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such
u
as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally.
An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to
burn, smoke, explode or overheat.
When the battery is not in use, keep it away from pa-
u
per clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small
metal objects that could make a connection from one
terminal to another. A short circuit between the battery
terminals may cause burns or a fire.
Do not open the battery. There is a risk of short-circuit-
u
ing.
Protect the battery against heat, e.g. against
continuous intense sunlight, fire, dirt, water
and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and
short-circuiting.
Only use the battery with products from the manufac-
u
turer. This is the only way in which you can protect the
battery against dangerous overload.
Read and strictly observe the safety warnings in the
u
operating instructions of the power tool used with the
dust extraction attachment.
Before carrying out any work on the dust extraction
u
attachment (e.g. assembly, tool change, cleaning,
etc.), remove the battery from the dust extraction at-
tachment. There is risk of injury from unintentionally
pressing the on/off switch.

Warning: Danger of fire! Do not work on any metallic
u
materials with the dust extraction attachment fitted.
Hot metal chips can ignite parts of the dust container.
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hear-
u
ing loss.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
u
protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal in-
juries.
Check the clamping ring for deformations that could pre-
u
vent the dust extraction attachment from attaching prop-
erly. If the clamping ring is damaged, have the dust ex-
traction attachment repaired before it is used.
Hold the power tool firmly with both hands and make
u
sure you have a stable footing. The power tool can be
more securely guided with both hands.
Observe valid national and international standards.
